professional with 2-4 years' work experience to join our rapidly
growing team.The ideal Manager candidate should be a highly
motivated, exceptionally hard-working individual with an interest
in corporate and public policy issues and a laser focus on
attention to detail. They must be a team player and possess strong
written and verbal communications skills as well as interpersonal,
research, and project management skills.The Manager will work in
the firm's strategic insights practice that conducts all
qualitative and quantitative research for firm clients with an
emphasis on public opinion research, message testing and
development, campaign tracking and optimization, and corporate
reputation and brand management. The ideal candidate for this role
must have an avid interest in qualitative and quantitative
research, messaging, and language. The Manager position is

This role will be based in Washington, DC.Core
Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand complex corporate and public policy issues
for new, current, and potential clients, ranging from Fortune 100
companies to leading trade associations and issue advocacy
organizations
- Manage qualitative research projects with responsibilities
including, but not limited to, development of participant and
moderator materials, attending client focus groups most often in
the evening, sharing detailed notes and feedback, drafting
post-research materials for clients, and training to become a focus
group moderator
- Manage quantitative research projects with responsibilities
including, but not limited to, drafting surveys, proofreading and
editing, analyzing data, ensuring accurate outputs, identifying key
insights, and drafting detailed PowerPoint analyses
- In-depth research of messaging from clients and key
stakeholders for any project. The ability to quickly absorb,
retain, and critically apply information about clients,
competitors, and relevant policies you may be initially unfamiliar
with is essential
- Write, edit, and proofread client-facing materials to ensure
consistency, 100% accuracy (i.e. no typos, statements verified by
data/research, etc.), and quality
- Assist with client reporting, including the management of
weekly reports, updates, and post-research materials
- Closely manage progress-to-goal on client accounts to ensure
target objectives are on track to be met and to identify areas of
weakness/underperformance
- Participate in the new business process, including research and
proposal draftingQualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Public
Relations, Political Science, Marketing, Philosophy, or a related
field from an accredited institution
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, including attention to
grammatical detail, clarity, speed, and accuracy, as well as
creative abilities to draft and develop fresh, original
content
- 2-4 years of prior experience at an agency in market research,
polling, data analytics, communications, public affairs, marketing,
and/or relevant political campaign/government experience
- Strong research and analytics skills
- Proficient and comfortable managing complex projects in
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Docs
- Ability to adapt communication styles to cultural environments
and incorporate the perspectives of multiple communities in the
consideration of impacts and outcomes of policy proposals
- Team player, willingness to take the initiative when needed,
and works well independently as well as in a collaborative
environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects while simultaneously
meeting deadlines
- Willingness to travel for client projects in the U.S. and
