    • Control day-to-day operations by scheduling, ordering, and developing restaurant team members
    • Directly responsible for profit & loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
    • Recruit, interview, and hire staff, motivate and train team, and take disciplinary actions, as needed
    • Ensure fully staffed, fully trained, and fully performing location
    • Oversee and adhere to local health and safety codes, as well as company-wide safety and security policies
    • Follow the preventative maintenance program for facility, equipment, appliances, fixtures, etc.
    • Lead a culture of safety and promote a positive working environment
    • Drive the company goals and objectives for creating a best-in-class guest experience
    • Bottom line responsibility for all guest reviews and guest experiences
    • Maintain and ensure all products are consistent with company quality standards and recipes
    • Partner with and complete timely execution of marketing initiativesWHAT YOU NEED TO BE A GENERAL MANAGER:
      • Flexibility to work in either DC, MD or VA
      • Experience managing in high volume restaurants, with a minimum of three years preferred
      • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
      • Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
      • Strong understanding of restaurant operations
      • Robust financial aptitude in respect to business operations
      • Passion for hospitality
      • Ability to lead and develop a team
      • Be caring, self-motivated, and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence
