PeopleShare is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Powhatan, VA!

Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist Job Details

• Schedule: M-F 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000 (depending on experience)

    • Monitor & manage the Accounts Payable inbox for bills and statements
    • Oversee vendor accounts, including collecting W-9s, COIs, verifying payment terms and ensuring correct payment
    • Assist in payroll preparation by collecting and verifying timesheets, reconciling with ADP and ensuring accurate hours, wages and per diem
    • Coordinate with Sales & Operations to manage subcontractor agreements
    • Prepare 1099 forms for subcontractors and vendors at year-end Payroll & Accounts Payable SpecialistJob Requirements:
      • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Word and PowerPoint
      • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field ; associates degree or equivalent experience will be considered
      • 1-3 years of experience in accounting with demonstrated expertise in accounts payable, payroll & vendor management
      • Experience with Corpay, ADP or similar financial software
