Program and Program Services roles in various departments,
including IRI's regional program divisions (Africa, Asia, Center
for Global Impact, Eurasia, Europe, LAC, MENA, Women's Democracy

Minimum qualifying requirements are below:
- Professional experience in a non-governmental organization
(NGO), government agency, or private organization.
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Political Science,
International Relations, Finance, Business Administration, or
relevant field.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple
tasks of competing priority with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication
skills.
- Strong computer skills including use of databases; proficiency
in Microsoft Office and Excel, including SharePoint.
- Prior experience coordinating activities that require input
from a variety of sources.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Relevant country, cultural, or legislative experience
preferred.
- Second Language Fluency encouraged (i.e., Spanish, Portuguese,
Arabic, French, etc.).
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
without sponsorship now or in the future.Relevant Functions &
Responsibilities: Specific role responsibilities will vary based on
position, salary level, and team expectations.
- Maintains an understanding of funder and IRI policies and
procedures related to grant compliance and oversight.
- Anticipates potential problems and troubleshoots project
issues, offering solutions and actively participating in their
resolution.
- Establishes, maintains, and develops strong working
relationships with relevant stakeholders in DC and abroad.
- Develops and coordinates new program ideas.
- Travels as needed for some program oversight and
implementation.Salary Levels and Professional Experience:
Professional experience is graded based on duration of employment,
excluding internships and other educational experiences.
- I-04: Associate level with 0-2 years professional experience
necessary.
- I-05: Senior Associate or Coordinator level with 1-3 years
professional experience necessary.
- I-06: Program Officer or Specialist level with 3-5 years
professional experience necessary.
- I-07: Program Manager or Senior Specialist level with 5-7 years
professional experience necessary.
- I-08: Senior Program Manager level with 6-8 years professional
experience necessary.
- I-09: Deputy Director or Program Director level with 8+ years
professional experience necessary.
- I-10: Director or Senior Advisor level with 10+ years
professional experience necessary.
- I-11: Senior Director level with 15+ years professional
experience necessary.IRI Total CompensationThe salary for this
position is determined based on various factors including
professional experience, qualifications, education, and other
business needs along with internal equity considerations. Employees
are not typically hired at the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are made based on the aforementioned
