• Certification Details
• Certs Required: BLS
• Certs Preferred: ACLS
• ACLS Required for: RN/LPN working in ICU, CCU, ED, PACU, and Tele units
• Certified OR Tech / Certified Surgical Tech - NBSTSA or NCCT preferred.

  • CVOR ST- 12D/E 36HRS OR 48HRS
  • START DATE: 10/28, 11/12
  • Day shift hours are 0630-1900.
  • Evening shift hours are 1100-2330.
  • The majority of the shifts are day shifts. Up to two weeks of the six week schedule could be evening shifts.
  • 2 Years Minimum Experience Required
  • Must have 1 prior travel assignment
  • Skill Required: Aseptic Technique, Case Cart, Scrub
  • Skills Preferred: Crash Cart, XI Robotics Experience
  • Surgery Cases Required: Cardiac and Vascular
  • Surgery Cases Preferred: General, Ortho, Ortho/spine, Otrho/joints, Urology, Endo, Thoracic, Neuro, Gyn, Neuro/Spine, Bariatrics, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, ENT, and Transplant
  • On Call: 6 calls per 6/wk schedule; 1 weekend shift and or 1 holiday per 6/wk schedule
  • Float Required: If no hearts can float to general surgery

    • A valid driver's license will be required if driving on behalf of MedStar Health is an essential function of the job.

    • Candidate will need to complete facility modules (SITELS) by HDD

      • Day shift hours are 0630-1900.
      • Evening shift hours are 1100-2330.
      • On Call: 6 calls per 6/wk schedule; 1 weekend shift and or 1 holiday per 6/wk schedule
