Job DescriptionThe Staffing Manager, Walter E Washington
Convention Center is responsible for assisting hiring managers with
the scheduling process of hourly food & beverage employees and
recruitment activities associated with full life cycle recruitment
for hourly positions. Additionally, they will partner with
community organizations to support hiring manager's local
recruitment efforts and drive efforts towards meeting diversity,
veteran and people with disabilities hiring goals.COMPENSATION: The
salary range for this position ranges from $70,000 to $72,000
depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and
qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job
experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is
Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of
compensation for this position as of the time of posting.If hired,
employee will be in an "at-will position" and Aramark reserves the
right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary
payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON,
including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual
performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and
market factors.Job Responsibilities
- Oversees the staffing operation to ensure CBA compliance
- Coordinates all recruitment and hiring activity necessary to
meet predetermined event-based staffing goals
- Serves as a liaison to the corporate hiring team, partnering on
job postings, recruitment efforts, and national initiatives
- Ownership of all local recruitment marketing, networking, and
advertising campaigns
- Operates on-site hiring center - screens candidates, reviews
resumes/applications, coordinates hiring events, and schedules
hiring managers to support applicant interviews
- Extends job offers, initiates background checks, schedules new
hire orientation attendance, and communicates details
- Tracks all recruitment activity, takes action, and escalates
critical resource issues
- Conducts pre-season and pre-event ramp-ups with hiring managers
to understand upcoming event schedules and develops a strategy to
address hiring needs
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

notice.Qualifications--- 1 year minimum experience in
recruiting/staffing--- Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent
experience--- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able
to communicate with tact and diplomacy--- Ability to influence
others on policies, practices, and procedures--- Effective at
capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties---
Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities and
leveraging resources to meet goals--- Proficient in Microsoft
