Job Description:
This position has a $50k sign on bonus.
Job Summary:
To examine patients having full range of visual problems, diagnose
visual diseases, disorders, and deficiencies, and prescribe
treatment as licensed and credited. To refer patients to other
appropriate Kaiser Permanente providers as needed for further
evaluation and treatment. Essential Responsibilities:
Full time float position between Kensington/Gaithersburg with 50%
travel with one required Saturday/month. Basic Qualifications:
Experience - - - - - - - N/A Education - - - - - - - Graduation
from an accredited school of Optometry. - - - - - - - Enrollment in
PECOS within 90 days of hire date. License, Certification,
Registration - - - - - - - Optometrist License (Maryland) OR
Optometrist License (Virginia) OR Optometrist License (District of
Columbia) - - - - - - - Basic Life Support required at hire from
American Heart Association - - - - - - - National Provider
Identifier required at hire Additional Requirements: - - - - - - -
-N/A Preferred Qualifications: - - - - - - - Minimum of two (2)
years of experience in an interdisciplinary health care environment
preferred or successful completion of accredited residency program.
