OPPORTUNITY:The Pursuits Manager is responsible for managing the
day-to-day activities related to project pursuits and supporting
the efforts surrounding the National, Regional and Divisional
Business Development plans. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Manage pursuit support team including staff development,
mentorship, training, and hiring.
- Manage workload of pursuit support team, setting priorities and
schedules based on the needs of leadership, the business
development team and in support of corporate initiatives.
- Accountable for the development and quality control of
proposal, qualifications, and collateral which are directly related
to business development and preconstruction activities.
- Develop strategy for project pursuits in concert with the
Business Development team and the Operations team (qualification
packages, technical proposals, and project-based presentations).
- Supervise the ongoing development and refinement of content
that tells compelling stories that resonate with target audiences.
- Oversee implementation of the Rosendin brand messaging and
visual identity in alignment with the Marketing Department's
standards and guidelines.
- Work closely with Leadership and Business Development team to
develop and implement overall marketing, communications and sales
strategy for the targeted pursuits, clients, and markets.
- Develop systems to extract, categorize and retrieve information
related to consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals,
boilerplate, visuals, mailing lists, promotional items. etc.
- Accountable for the development and maintenance of accurate and
complete information, on the Business Development SharePoint and
other informational resource sites.
- Conduct pursuit and collateral-related workshops/training for
necessary internal staff.
- Direct and assist in research of markets and clients, sharing
relevant information with other offices.
- Serve as a communication link between Marketing, Operations,
and corporate resources, supporting activities and efficacy of
efforts.
- Collaborate with office leadership and Marketing Department to
develop and execute specific communications initiatives to raise
visibility of the firm and position key staff as design and
knowledge leaders.
- Support the Marketing Department as needed with website
content, the development of collateral materials, advertising,
corporate identity implementations and special events.
- The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the
general nature and scope of work being performed by this position.

based on the position's role within the business unit. WHAT YOU
BRING TO US:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management,
Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 10 years' work experience in the A/E/C industry
- Must have experience with Adobe CC (specifically InDesign)
- Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant
experience WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook,
Word, Excel, etc.); Salesforce preferred
- Demonstrates poise and a leadership style that will instill
confidence and trust among internal/external leadership and
clients
- Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team leader and
player
- Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of
employees, vendors, clients, etc.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal
skills (written and verbal)
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design,
professional printing/publishing skills are essential
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as
necessary and with a positive attitude, while maintaining a high
level of quality and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills, organizational,
problem-solving and attention to details skills
- Successfully mentor staff, which supports continuous learning,
team collaboration and career development
- Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals
- Understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and delivery
methods
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as
necessary
- Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a
positive attitude
- Oral and written communication skills as required for the
position
- Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
- Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of
employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and
others
TRAVEL:
- 10- 20%
- Travel requirement for trade shows, industry events, corporate
meetings, training, etc. WORKING CONDITIONS:
- General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing,
walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted
primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as
fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
- Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the
jobsite.
