Job Summary:We are seeking a Security Engineer with 5+ years of security experience in a cloud-first environment doing assessment of implementation of controls.This is someone that can build automation and controls in our cloud environment - heavy AWS on the software production side AND heavy GCP on the Data Science, ML, and Operational Data side.Location: Baltimore, MarylandJob Type: PermanentSalary: $140,000 - 175,000 per yearWork Hours: 9am to 5pmEducation: BachelorsResponsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, design, and implement security controls for cloud networks and systems including GCP and AWS.
• Collaborate with internal users of all levels to understand platform and cloud needs in order to identify and provision security measures for those systems.
• Consult software engineering on security considerations and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure clear communication of all company-wide security initiatives to all affected parties.
• Research trends, paradigms, tools, and strategies to continuously improve security of all systems, tools, and software.Qualifications:
  • Experience Level: Experienced
  • Minimum 6 years of experience
  • Education: BachelorsSkills:
