We're hiring a growth-obsessed Marketing Lead to transform our
7-figure industrial eCommerce brand into an 8-figure category
leader.
You will lead a team of seven across paid media, SEO, email,
content, CRO, merchandising, and inside sales. You will personally
own and manage either paid media or SEO to replace agency execution
with hands-on excellence. You won't just oversee channels; you'll
build a scalable revenue engine and then hire, train, and deploy
the team to operate it.
This is a high-autonomy, high-accountability role with a fast track
to executive leadership. We're looking for an "A" player to hit the
numbers, build the engine, and lead the team.

This role is based in our Ashland, VA office. We will consider
remote candidates only if the fit is exceptional.
Your Mission
Grow revenue by increasing leads, conversion, and repeat
purchases.
Your First 6-12 Months
Own and operate Paid Media or SEO until the process is defined and
the outcomes exceed expectations
Take full accountability for lead generation, conversion
optimization, and retention KPIs across channels
Deeply understand our customer and their ordering preferences
Manage, nurture, and add to our hybrid team of in-house, freelance,
and agency support
Build a simple, accurate reporting system that the whole team
uses
Key Responsibilities
Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA)
Define expectations and motivate the team to align with company
values, vision, and goals.
Translate vision and goals into actionable marketing priorities,
creating efficient systems and coaching team members to achieve
peak performance.
Ensure clarity around roles, track progress, address challenges,
and hold team members accountable.
Success Measure: Execute our 2025 marketing plan with weekly
targets and quarterly milestones to achieve company revenue goals.
Build and maintain a team of "A Players."
Channel Ownership
We're a small team. You will manage the overall marketing team to
achieve targets across all revenue-generating activities while
personally owning the SEO or paid media channel.
Oversee our merchandising team to hit new-product listing and
current-product accuracy goals; oversee inside sales to improve
quote conversion rates and support marketing efforts with expert
phone support.
Define and document our standard operating procedures that result
in channel growth.
Success Measure: Grow revenue by +35%.
Lead Generation
Drive qualified traffic through a mix of SEO, content, email, paid,
and merchandising alignment.
Drive qualified traffic to the eCommerce store, ensuring
cost-effective acquisition.
Success Measure: Increase qualified leads by +30%.
Conversion Optimization
Design and implement a conversion funnel with targeted calls to
action at each stage.
Employ an always-testing mindset to improve our site's conversion
constantly.
Success Measure: Increase cart conversion rate by +1%.
Customer Retention
Develop and execute strategies to encourage repeat purchases and
build loyalty through personalized marketing and exceptional
service.
Enhance customer lifetime value by fostering long-term
relationships.
Success Measure: Increase the returning customer rate by +6%.
Customer Insights & Analytics
Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to understand customer
behavior, preferences, and purchase patterns.
Analyze metrics to inform marketing strategies and improve customer
experiences.
Success Measure: Report on key metrics from each marketing channel,
including acquisition costs and customer lifetime value by customer
group.
Key Challenges
This role will require navigating a rapidly evolving eCommerce
space, which includes:
Increasing competition and market consolidation.
Rising advertising costs.
Advancing customer expectations for personalized and efficient
experiences.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
5-7 years of experience in eCommerce marketing.
You've personally owned or scaled paid media or SEO, not solely
through agency management.
Proven ability to grow revenue in a B2B model.
Strong grasp of Google Analytics, attribution, LTV/CAC math, and
channel economics.
Leadership chops-you've built or led a high-performing team.
Experience with SEO, CRO, retargeting campaigns, and social
media.
Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets and achieve
measurable ROI.
Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in marketing tools
(Google Analytics, CRM platforms, etc.).
Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with the industrial supply or automobile
industries.
Familiarity with eCommerce selling to businesses.
