Rooted in the USMC values of honor, courage, and commitment, Terrestris seeks to deliver extraordinary values to the American people by helping the Government become more efficient and effective.So, what will the Personnel Recovery (PR) Operations & Equipment Coordinator at Terrestris do?The Personnel Recovery (PR) Operations & Equipment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the logistics of assigned Security and PR training programs, working closely with the PR Program Coordinator and the Senior Training Specialist. This individual must demonstrate capability to provide technical support, equipment integration, and management techniques to identify emerging requirements for security and PR training initiatives.What does a typical day look like for a Personnel Recovery (PR) Operations & Equipment Coordinator?A Personnel Recovery (PR) Operations & Equipment Coordinator's day is dynamic, with a mix of coordinating travel and trainer schedules, supporting curriculum development, and ensuring the quality of security and PR training materials in collaboration with the Senior Training Specialist. Responsibilities include planning and executing security and PR training sessions, maintaining inventory and operational readiness of PRO kit contents (excluding communications equipment), and managing the procurement and supply of necessary training equipment. The Coordinator is also responsible for conducting practical application exercises, producing course evaluation reports, and delegating tasks to Training Specialists while supervising their performance.In addition, the Coordinator develops and implements PR programs and security-related initiatives, including managing PR equipment inventory and PRO training, and reviewing USAID Mission assessments to identify security training needs. The role also involves coordinating training logistics, overseeing mobile training events, delivering PREEMPT, security, and PRO training, and supervising the activities of Training Specialists. Further duties include managing procurement, inventory, and maintenance of PR and medical equipment, and drafting reports as directed by the PR Program Coordinator.What qualifications do you look for?You might be the person we're looking for if you have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the management of teams and training programs, including at least two years' specialized experience in developing, coordinating, and overseeing a training program, as well as demonstrated experience ordering and maintaining related equipment and supplies.
• Experience in developing advanced, tactical training, procedures, and programs. PR program training experience is preferred but not required. Military, first responder, or other comprehensive training experience in a government or civilian capacity may be substituted.
• Proven instructor experience as well as the ability to train other instructors.
• Experience in developing course curricula and training materials and aids.
• Experience conducting practical training application and program assessment.
• Ability to measure achievement of learning objectives and conduct program and course evaluation.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
• Must have and maintain a valid U.S Passport.
• Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license.Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to physically stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time and the ability to climb ladders with dexterity in both hands.
  • Must be able to lift a 50-pound item to waist height and must be able to lift a 30-pound item over the head.
  • Must have 20/20 vision with corrective lenses if necessary.
  • Must have acceptable color vision and have acceptable depth perception.
  • Must be physically able to travel to and operate in potentially dangerous, overseas environments.
  • Must be physically able to walk distances up to three miles in a variety of adverse environments while carrying a 30-pound backpack.
