Working in a team environment, the Accounting Senior Manager handles a variety of tasks in producing and analyzing the monthly financial statements. This position adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies and regulations. This position promotes and supports the Company's core values of Compassion, a positive Attitude, Respect and Excellence.Essential Job Responsibilities:Completing monthly closings of companiesPreparing monthly consolidated and divisional financial statementsPreparing, processing, and reviewing journal entriesReconciling general ledger accountsReviewing branch performanceAdhering to a strict closing scheduleAssisting in the annual audit processPreparing weekly sales reportsProviding analysis and research as needed to ensure accurate financial informationManaging and developing GL Accounting teamParticipate in acquisition integration activitiesAssisting in special projects and activities, as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferredExperience in the healthcare industry preferred5 - 7 years of experience in accounting, specifically working in general ledgerMicrosoft Dynamics GP experience preferredADP experience preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFlexible scheduling to meet changing closing deadlinesStrong Excel skillsComfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teamsAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organizationIf this sounds like you and your desire to join a growing team then we invite you to apply today!Location: 23112, 23114, 23235, 23238
